- Charles Upchurch, CEO
Charles Upchurch is the Chief Executive Officer of Silentsoft. Charles has extensive management experience from both small and large organizations, particularly in implementing strategies and processes to help companies grow successfully. Prior to Silentsoft, Charles was CEO of TATIS - a Geneva based software company - which he built into a market leader prior to its acquisition. Before TATIS, Charles spent 16 years with SGS – a Swiss multi-national services company - where he held senior positions in the Geneva headquarters as well as in the North American and Asian affiliates. Charles has a degree in Psychology from Rhodes College in the USA.
- Jean-Luc Mossier, Co-Founder & CTO
Jean-Luc Mossier is co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Silentsoft. Jean-Luc spent the past 8 years designing and building the technology solutions for Silentsoft including real-time telemetry solutions for bulk product inventory monitoring and building energy optimization. Prior to founding Silentsoft, Jean-Luc was the Director of the Science Park at the EPFL (Swiss research university) and was a process engineer in the chemical and environmental industries. Jean-Luc holds a PhD in technical sciences from EPFL and an MBA from the University of Lausanne.
- Fabio Cesa, Co-Founder & COO
Fabio Cesa is co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Silentsoft. Fabio spent the past 8 years building Silentsoft’s commercial business and operational processes including its strong position in the property management and oil & gas industries. Prior to founding Silentsoft, Fabio was the Product Manager for Cuenotherm – a Swiss heating services company – where he developed the vision for telemetry in building energy management. Fabio has an MBA from the University of Lausanne.

Paolo Brillo is the Chief Financial Officer of Silentsoft. Paolo’s career has principally evolved in industrial production with a focus on change management and group integration. Prior to joining Silentsoft, Paolo held senior finance positions at Orange and at Bosch where he conducted numerous business valuations and investment assessments. Paolo chaired the CEEC (Centre Vaudois d’Etudes Economiques et Comptables) for more than 6 years and continues to participate in this association.
